How we implement Delphi
Welphi implements the Delphi method by rounds. You will need to create a round to start getting the participants' answers and feedback. To move towards a consensus, you can set up additional rounds at will. In each round, welphi will automatically show the stats and comments from previous rounds and allow the participants to review their answers.
Each round may include different page types depending on the type of data you need to collect. You can include qualitative pages where participants answer with a scale, quantitative pages, where people are invited to answer a number within a predefined range or ranking pages where participants just need to drag and drop to rank a predefined set of items
Throughout the entire process, Welphi provides automatic statistics of the participants answers and makes them available in the beginning of the next round along with any comments that may have been provided. With this information, participants are invited to review their answers.
At the end of each round, Welphi will enable you to define acceptance or rejection rules based upon which any study object item can be either approved, rejected or be left unclassified for further rounds.
How we implement MCDA
Collecting preferences to evaluate options entails scoring each option and weighting each criterion. For these two processes, we implement the MACBETH method.
Weighting the criteria is one of the most essential steps in evaluating options. In Welphi, we implement qualitative Swing Weighting. Just insert the criteria and their references, and Welphi will automatically create the questionnaire for you.
Scoring options in each criterion requires creating value scales. Just insert each criterion’s reference levels, and Welphi will create scoring questionnaires implementing the MACBETH method.
After launching the questionnaires and collecting all answers, Welphi will provide scales and weights for each participant. This information lets you understand your participants’ preferences towards the criteria and evaluate options.
